The Ministry of Minority Affairs was carved out of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and created on 29th January 2006 to ensure a more focused approach towards issues relating to the notified minority communities namely Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Sikhs, Parsis and Jain. The mandate of the Ministry includes formulation of overall policy & planning, coordination, evaluation & review of the regulatory framework and development programmes for the benefit of the minority communities.
Seekho Aur Kamao, scheme was launched by Ministry of Minority.
AISECT has signed a MoU with National Institute for the Orthopedically Handicapped (NIOH) an autonomous organisation under department of Empowerment of PwDs, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment to train 100 orthopedically handicapped candidates in Arunachal Pradesh (20), Tripura (40) and Manipur (40).

The Directorate General of Employment and Training (DGE&T), Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) is implementing the National Career Service (NCS) which aims to provide a variety of employment related services.

AISECT has established Model Career Centre under this scheme to full fill above mentioned objectives. AISECT has conducted different activities like Seminar, awareness camps in catchment area, Rojgar Mela etc. Through these efforts AISECT has mobilised 1000+ candidates on this Portal and provided jobs to 500+ candidates.
AISECT is authorised agent of National Employment Enhancement Mission (NEEM) a scheme under All India Council of Technical Education to promote apprenticeship. The objective of National Employability Enhancement Mission (NEEM) is to offer on the job practical training to enhance employability of a person either pursuing his or her Post Graduation/graduation/diploma in any technical or non-technical stream or has discontinued studies after Class 10th to enhance his/her employability.
As an authorized agent of NEEM, AISECT has tied up with 25 companies and placed 4,500 candidates as on the job practical training candidates.
AISECT is implementing partner of Director General of Resettlement, Ministry of Defence since 2014-15 to provide placement opportunities of retire personnel of army through Skill development.
